Born to parents from Dominican Republic, Betty grew up in the predominantly hispanic city of Miami, Florida. In her late teens, she developed a fierce hunger to know God by reading His Word, many months before she would get to know Jesus personally and invite Him into her heart at the age of 18. Now residing in Indianapolis, Indiana, Betty lives with husband of 16 years, Asbel, and their two children.
While serving as Associate Pastor of New Wineskin Ministries International and pastoring the Spanish congregation of this ministry, Betty supported her husband as translator, Bible teacher, women's group leader, and worked with the various community evangelism projects of the ministry. Her long-time struggles with low self-esteem, fears and discouragement, and the realization that many women struggle this way, have birthed in her a ministerial passion for leading women to personal victories in these areas. Challenged by many years of infertility and miscarriages, but having VICTORIOUSLY conquered, she now pursues her assignment to destroy the work of the enemy in Godly women EVERYWHERE!
Betty has been called to be a prophetic voice and boldly speaks the Word of God with power and clarity. Her personal decree is to emphasize to the believer, the reality of God's empowering presence in their life.
