Bio
Born in Habana, Cuba in 1968 to Cuban parents in a Christian home, Asbel Jonathan Corrales (who goes by A.J.) is the first-born of 4 siblings. At the age of 2, he came to the United States where he resided in Kokomo, Indiana for 5 years, then Miami, Florida for 22 years, and proudly returned to Indiana in 1996 to make Indianapolis his current home. He lives with wife Betty, son Nathanael, and adopted daughter Gabriella.
A.J. committed his life to Jesus Christ at the age of 5 years old. Already at that age, he was actively involved in leading other children to Christ and sharing the gospel. At age 7, he started his music ministry as a percussionist, and shortly afterwards commenced private classical piano training through Wagner Music Conservatory and a private teacher to complete an 8-year program for concert pianists. At the age of 14, he won a scholarship for his musical gift and this placed him in a college program at the age of 15. He also learned 7 other instruments and studied Information Technology and currently enjoys his work in these fields.
By the time he was in his teenage years, the calling of God on his life had grown to be indisputably evident. He served alongside his pastor, assisting in ministry as a music and cell group leader and teacher, as well as serving in church property management and finances. At 16, he found the love and companion of his life and joined her in matrimony at the age of 23. A.J. can be characterized as a man who loves God and has as his outstanding goal to fulfill his purpose in the Kingdom. He is a psalmist and although he regularly leads congregations in worship, his highest form of worship is reflected in the life that he lives consecrated to God. It can be said that A.J. has a pioneering spirit demonstrated in the fact that he started the Spanish ministry, Seņales de Vida, as part of New Wineskin Ministries International in 2001, where he served as Associate Pastor until 2008. He also serves as an energetic and anointed bilingual interpreter for English and Spanish engagements, as well as a powerful and prophetic speaker and teacher for national and international events and conferences worldwide. Obeying God's Word to go into the hedges and highways and compel men to come, he has done outreach in apartment complexes, migrants camps, on the streets and at special city events, all with the purpose of bringing souls to Christ. In 2006, he was led of the LORD to initiate Paradise of God Ministries, a ministry operating in the prophetic, teaching and music realms. In 2003, A.J. also founded Habana Solutions, an organization dedicated to offering training in the areas of technology and software as well as translation services.
A.J. has set some TABLES for his life: Things to Accomplish Before Leaving the Earthly Suit. These are: Raise the dead, heal the multitudes from sicknesses such as AIDS, cancer, diabetes, arthritis and many more diseases, see creative miracles on the body, watch massive outpourings of the Holy Spirit on the multitudes, witness signs and wonders like never before, live naturally in the supernatural, and preach the gospel to millions; in essence, fulfilling what Jesus meant when he said '...greater works than this he will do'.
