Learning to abide in the Secret Place and living in constant intimacy with the Father is the key that opens the door to being able to sleep in perfect rest through storms in our lives, just like Jesus did as He crossed the Sea of Galilee with His disciples during a storm that had them fearing for their lives (Matthew 8:23-27). Then, when Jesus opened His mouth to speak to the storm, the peace that was resident in Him flowed through His words to change the atmosphere of that region.
